Our Process
The Stephen J. Group tailors each individual search to your technical and cultural needs. We do this by qualifying the unique characteristics of every position that needs to be filled as well as your company's unique corporate culture. In order to form our partnership with you we go through the following processes for recruiting:
1. Needs Analysis:
Our team will identify your specific market and company needs. This will give us the blueprint to begin our search to find you the right person for your company and the position available.
2. Company Requirements:
We will help you identify and develop a thorough job description, educational requirements, skill requirements, and competitive compensation package for the position that is available.
3. Research Analysis:
The Stephen J. Group will research your company, your competitors, and the industry to ensure that we find you the right person for the job. At the same time we will be able to give you some additional insight as to what is going on within the rest of the industry.
4. Candidate Identification/Screening:
Our team will begin the recruiting process by identifying qualified candidates for the position. Once our team has identified qualified candidates they will begin an extensive screening process including technical aptitude, personality screening, education validation, reference verification, and the overall fit for your company & the position.
5. Presentation:
Once our team has identified 3 to 4 qualified candidates we will send your company all the information that we have gathered and a summary on why we think they would be a match for your company and the position.
6. Interview Process:
After reviewing the qualified candidates we will work with you and the potential candidates to start the interviewing process. We will help arrange the interview times, prepare the candidates for the interview, and provide them with the directions and contact information for the day of their interview.
7. Negotiation:
After the interview process has been completed and you have identified the individual you would like to extend an offer to our team will work with you and the candidate to ensure the right compensation and benefit package for all parties involved.
8. Our Guarantee:
The Stephen J. Group believes in building strong, long term relationships with our clients and our candidates. Therefore, if something where to happen where the candidate cannot fulfill his or her work obligations within the first 30 days The Stephen J. Group will replace the candidate with an equally qualified candidate free of charge. In order to take advantage of our 30 day guarantee your invoice must be paid in full by the agreed due date on the contract.
9. Follow Up:
After the position is filled our job is not done. We will keep in contact with both your company and the candidate to ensure that all parties are satisfied.
